Lounge Suite recolour and finish

We recently had the pleasure of restoring a well-loved leather lounge suite that had seen better days. The suite, once a rich red had faded over the years and showed signs of daily wear—scratches, scuffs, and dullness that took away from its original charm.

Our client didn’t want to part with their lounge, as it held sentimental value and still had a solid structure. Instead, they opted for a full recolour and refinish to give it a fresh, modern look while preserving its classic style.

The Process
We began by deep-cleaning the leather to remove any dirt, oils, and residues. Once prepped, we carefully repaired surface damage and scuffs using professional-grade fillers and conditioners. With the base restored, we then applied a custom colour chosen by the client—a sleek, deep red—to give the suite a contemporary refresh.

Leather finishes were then applied to ensure even coverage and a soft, natural finish. Finally, we sealed the leather with a durable topcoat and feel agents to protect against future wear and maintain its new look for years to come.

The Result
The leather now looks brand new, with a rich, consistent colour and buttery-soft feel.
